In Christendom today there are many different churches and many different ways of meeting for worship and prayer, the exercise of gifts, the practice of baptism and reception to fellowship, etc. Some of these ideas have surfaced recently and seem to take little notice of what God says in His word as to how a church should function.
This book goes back to look at the practice of churches in the New Testament days and emphasizes that what God laid down for the church then is applicable still today, and until the Lord comes.
